After School Program • Open gym on Mondays and Fridays • Homework Help on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Drum Lessons Open for students ages 9-12. Lessons begin on Tuesday, September 18th with 2 classes each night, one at 5 pm, the other at 6 pm. Lessons will be at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Norristown. Fee: $5 + PAL membership New - Fiddle Lessons for VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, and BASS players Instructor: Laine Moran Norristown Area High School Orchestra Director Lessons are designed for students in grades 3–12 that would like to expand their musical knowledge and experience. Fee: PAL membership New - QuickStart Tennis Program QuickStart Tennis is a new format to help kids 10 and under learn and play the game. The fee is for five 1 hour lessons. Barbara Richet will be helping students in grades K - 8 with their homework in all subject areas at Norristown PAL every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30-6:30 pm. Wrestling Join the K-9 Unit Wrestling team. Sign-ups in early October. Practices begin in October and are held a Eisenhower Middle School Fee: $20 + PAL membership Family Nights are back!!! Students must be accompanied by an adult to participate in family night activities. Coming soon: Children's Books Night and Hands-On Science Night. Fee: none Youth and Adult Tae Kwon Do Learn “the way of hand and foot” with in-structor John Szostek. This martial art teaches physical and mental fitness as well as self defense. Class are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ▪ Youth - ages 5 & up – Beginners at 5:00 pm – Advanced at 6:00 pm ▪ Adults from 7 to 8 pm Fee: $20.00/month + PAL membership Trips for Kids Bicycling Program Please call the PAL Center for program details. General information about the Trips for Kids Bicycling Program may be found at http://www.tripsforkids.org/index.htm. Just for Dads Weekly support program for gathers begins September 17th. Fathers from all walks of life are invited to attend. This weekly program will help Dads connect with their kids. Fee: none Dog Obedience Classes Saturdays at 12 pm. All dogs must have current shots.
